QUICK-SET 2-PART LOCKING DOWELS FOR CABINETS
QUICK-SET is a simple and efficient 2-part Dowel. With its glue-less design, the threaded stud and plastic sleeve firmly lock into place. RTA cabinets and closet systems are put together on or off-site quickly and easily. QUICK-SET is processed the same as a conventional wooden dowel – but in a much shorter time, as gluing and clamping is not a factor. In addition to its main area of application as a modern cabinet connector, the QUICK-SET can also be used for drawer boxes, shelving, and bookcases.

QUICK-SET is a simple and efficient 2-part Locking Dowel, that includes a threaded stud and a plastic sleeve. The QUICK-SET is self-tightening, non-visible, and can be inserted immediately into standard boreholes without waiting for glue to dry. With 4 sizes available, you will be sure to find the perfect size you need for your application.
QUICK-SET Features
QUICK-SET comes in ∅ 5 mm x 7.5 mm, ∅ 5 mm x 11 mm, ∅ 8 mm x 8 mm, and ∅ 8 mm x 26 mm. The plastic sleeve remains ∅ 8 mm for all versions and can be processed on flat surfaces with a material thickness of 5/8 (16 mm) or more. With 4 sizes available you will be sure to find the perfect diameter and length you need for your application.

Strong Design. The metal stud gives an advantage over the average wood dowel. Shear strength is extremely high, giving you the assurance that the metal stud would never break before the wood. The coarse threads add to the pull out strength, giving you between 132 – 187 lbs of pull out strength, depending on the material used.
High Pull Out Strength
Installation is a breeze. Once the dowel holes are drilled and the metal stud is screwed in, the only tool you will need is a rubber mallet. The metal stud forces itself into the plastic sleeve. Once in reaches the end, the head of the stud snaps into the sleeve, locking it firmly into place.
